As a classically trained chef with over 22 years of diverse experience in the food service industry, I specialize in luxury appliances and have partnered with top brands like Gaggenau and Thermador. My passion lies in leading high-performance kitchen teams and teaching aspiring chefs the art of cooking together, let's elevate your culinary journey to new heights!
Chef John
Chef John’s culinary journey is anything but conventional. The son of Colombian immigrants, he discovered his passion for cooking while serving in the United States Marine Corps, learning not just to prepare meals but to build and run efficient kitchens. After his service, he trained under Chef Florent Marneau at Pinot Provence before refining his craft at the Art Institute of Orange County.
His career has spanned fine dining, VIP catering, and an immersive experience in Italy at Zeppelin Restaurant, where he deepened his love for farm-to-table cuisine. He later transitioned into culinary education, leading cooking classes at Barbecues Galore before shaping training programs for luxury appliance brands like, Gaggenau, Viking, Thermador, Aga, Josper, Bosch, Lynx, Miele and Le Cornue.
For him, cooking is more than a profession—it’s a way to bring people together, create lasting memories, and elevate everyday moments through food.
